Casino Churning Methods

The exact methods I use to clear bonus Sweeps Coins while keeping as much of them as possible.

Every method on this page is built around one rule. When a sweepstakes casino gives you bonus Sweeps Coins (SC), you have to wager them at least once — the “1x playthrough” — before any winnings can be cashed out. So the goal is not to win big. The goal is to wager those coins through while losing as little of them as possible, then redeem. Treat it like clearing a requirement, not gambling for a jackpot.

Each casino has a best game for doing this. Check the badge on the Casinos page: “Roulette/any game OK” means table games count toward the playthrough (use Dice or Roulette), and “Slots only” means you have to clear it on slots.

Quick guide: Has Dice? Use the Dice Method — it’s the most reliable. Has Roulette and lets you use bonus coins on it? Use the Roulette Method. Slots only? Use the Slots Method.

The Dice Method — the most reliable (my favorite)

This is the method I lean on most. It gives the highest, most consistent return because you can set the odds heavily in your favor and roughly break even on every roll while the coins clear.

  1. Claim the offer or make your deposit, then open the casino’s Dice game.
  2. Turn on “Auto” or “Autobet” if the game has it, so you don’t have to click every roll.
  3. Drag the win-chance slider as high as the game allows — usually somewhere between 86% and 98%. The higher the win chance, the smaller the payout, and that’s fine: you’re aiming for roughly “bet $1, win $1,” not a profit on each roll.
  4. Set the bet size to a small, even amount — $1 works well.
  5. Set the number of auto-rolls to your coin balance divided by the bet. With 100 SC at $1 a roll, that’s 100 rolls.
  6. Start it and let it run. You’ll win the large majority of rolls; the handful of losses are your small “cost” to clear the playthrough.

Example: the offer is $50 for 100 SC. Set $1 bets, about a 95% win chance, and 100 auto-rolls. When it finishes you’ll typically have around 93–97 SC left — the 1x playthrough is done and you can usually keep $40+ of the bonus, depending on your win chance and luck. If you end up just under the cashout minimum, add a small top-up and keep rolling until you’re over it.

Why it’s the best: highest, steadiest retention and the lowest chance you’ll need to spend extra to reach the minimum. If a site has Dice, use it.

The Roulette Method — simple and effective

Roulette is the easy one. You cover two of the three “dozens” on the table so most spins win. You don’t need to know anything else about roulette to use it.

  1. Open the Roulette game (use Auto if it’s offered).
  2. Find the three boxes along the bottom labeled 1–12, 13–24, and 25–36. Between them they cover every number except 0.
  3. Put an equal bet on two of the three boxes — for example, $0.50 on 1–12 and $0.50 on 13–24, for a $1 total each spin.
  4. That covers 24 of the 37 numbers (about 65%). You only lose if the ball lands in the third dozen you didn’t cover, or on 0.
  5. Each winning spin pays back about $1.50 (a $0.50 gain); each loss costs your $1.
  6. Set Auto for as many spins as your balance allows — 100 SC = 100 spins — and let it run.

Example: you put in $50 and get 100 SC. Open Roulette, set Auto to 100 spins, pick two dozens, and run it. Each spin you’re risking $1 to make $0.50 or lose $1. The frequent 50% gains offset the losses well, which makes it a strong “break even with a little profit” option.

Two things to check: (1) Some casinos won’t let you clear bonus coins on table games — only on slots. Those are marked “Slots only” on the Casinos page; use the Slots Method there. (2) A few casinos let you cover all three dozens. If yours allows it, covering all three raises your win odds dramatically — always check.

The Slots Method — for slots-only casinos

This is my least favorite because losses are more likely, but it’s essential: many sweepstakes casinos only offer slots, or require slots to clear the bonus. The trade-off is that slots are the only method with a real shot at a big win or jackpot — rare, but possible.

  1. Pick a high-RTP slot. RTP (“return to player”) is the percentage a game pays back over time — higher is better. We list suggestions in the slot notes, or you can look up a specific game’s RTP online.
  2. Set the smallest bet the game allows — around $0.20 is a good target — to get the most spins out of your coins.
  3. Work out your spin count: balance ÷ bet. 50 SC at $0.20 = 250 spins. Use Auto, and split it into batches if the game caps how many you can queue (for example two 100s and a 50).
  4. Run it. You’ll lose a lot of small spins, but a win should be big enough to recover them — and more spins means more chances at a big hit.

Example: the offer is $25 for 50 SC. Pick your slot, set $0.20 spins, and run 250 spins. The most spins for the lowest bet gives you the best chance to keep your coins and maybe catch a jackpot.

It’s the least predictable method, but it’s the right — and often only — tool on slots-only sites.
